Cambodia Academy of Digital Technology

CADT is a public research and training institution specialized in digital technology, funded by the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications of Cambodia (MPTC). We have three missions: (1) Provision of high-quality training in digital technology to students and government officials; (2) Research and advancement of knowledge; and (3) Promotion of innovation and entrepreneurship for better academic and social services.

CADT is the first specialized higher education institution in Cambodia that offers bachelor programs in the fields of computer science, digital business, and telecommunication. We currently have 800 students enrolled in our three bachelor programs, with 42% of them being female.

In an effort to support the e-government implementation agenda of the Royal Government of Cambodia, CADT is providing a digital literacy program to the government officials at both national and sub-national levels by delivering digital literacy training to more than 1000 government officials from different ministries annually.

As a governmental agency with mission to promote technology entrepreneurship in the country, CADT is the organizer of Digital Cambodia Expo, the biggest technology event in the country gathering players in ICT industry, business leaders, technologists, founders and leaders from governmental agencies across ASEAN countries in an attempt to put our startup ecosystem on the region. To support the innovation and entrepreneurship activities from the ground, the innovation center was established to house a digital maker-space for young entrepreneurs accessing to 3D printers, digital fabrication tools,  wood/metal prototyping tools to build their early product prototype, an accelerating space for early stage startups, and a conference facility to host technology events. This center will be a model of collaboration between academia, government, and industry, emerging as a key and supportive environment for innovation in Cambodia.
